Tenants
To ensure we can help you get the best property to suit your needs, you will need a few items ready.

Things to note
- References – from current employer and previous/current landlord
- Identification – For due diligence we will need photo id
- Personal information – Every adult on the lease must provide their name, PPS number, and contact information. We do not require this information for children in the case of families. It’s a good idea to have the above information prepared because we need it to process your rental application. All personal information is immediately destroyed if your application is rejected in accordance with GDPR regulations.
- Attend any viewings or appointments
- Communicate quickly if you would like the property
- The decision of choosing the tenant lies with the landlord

The law
The primary body of Irish landlord-tenant law, the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 to 2019 (referred to herein as “the Act”), regulates the rights and obligations of landlords and tenants of privately rented residential property. The Act works in conjunction with any lease or tenancy agreement. To adapt to the shifting demands of the rental market, the Act is frequently updated.
